Psychiatry Clinic
The Psychiatry Clinic provides specialized healthcare services to individuals with various mental difficulties and disorders. Specialists and subspecialists in various branches of psychiatry use different diagnostic methods and therapeutic approaches to help patients overcome their challenges and improve their quality of life. After the initial interview, assessment, and evaluation of the patient's condition, the psychiatrist diagnoses the patient and develops a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s health condition and specific needs. In addition to the rational use of pharmacotherapy, various forms of individual and group psychotherapy, psychosocial support, and integrative rehabilitation are applied at the Insula County Hospital, involving an interdisciplinary and multiprofessional team of experts (psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social educators, occupational therapists, etc.).
The psychiatry office deals with the treatment of various mental disorders, the most common of which include depression, addiction disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, and dual diagnoses.
In order for the therapeutic process to take place in a safe and unbiased environment, while respecting professional ethical standards, confidentiality and trust between the patient and the psychiatrist are of utmost importance in the work of our psychiatry office.
