Accessibility Statement
Insula County Hospital strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the The Law on Accessibility of Web Site and Programming Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies adopted by Croatian Parliament ("Narodne novine," No. 17/19; hereinafter: the Law), which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016.).
This Accessibility Statement applies to the website of Insula County Hospital located at https://www.sb-insula.hr/.
Level of Compliance
The website https://sb-insula.hr/ is partially compliant with the Law due to non-compliances listed below.
Inaccessible content
The content listed below is inaccessible due to the following:
- Images lack appropriate description;
- A large amount of previously published content, which the Insula County Hospital considers an archive, has not been analyzed due to lack of human and financial resources:
- All graphic elements lack appropriate description;
- All video content lacks subtitles;
- All audio materials lack transcripts;
- There are graphic elements with textual content that are not logos;
- The use of the automatic text input error correction option is not ensured;
- The use of voice commands is not enabled;
- Some .pdf files contained in the posts were not entirely developed by exporting from the source file in Microsoft Office Word with accessibility options but by scanning printed documents. Hence, they are not accessible because they are not adequately prepared for screen readers;
- Links on the homepage below the topic names are not highlighted, so the user does not immediately recognize them as links.
Insula County Hospital is continuously working on eliminating detected non-compliance and educating and counseling users who have the right to publish the content.
Website adjustments
The accessibility menu was implemented on the website offering visitors the following options:
- Increase or decrease the font size:
- Option of grayscale mode;
- Option of high contrast mode;
- Option of a light background color;
- Option to highlight links;
- Option to highlight titles;
- Option for showing additional descriptions;
- Option to enlarge mouse cursor and select its color (black or white);
- Option to enlarge the content;
- Ability to navigate and interact using the keyboard;
Preparation of this Accessibility Statement
This Statement was prepared on 8 February 2022, according to the Model Accessibility Statement in accordance with the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, as set out in the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.
The assessment of compliance with accessibility requirements has been the result of a self-assessment of the Insula County Hospital.
The Statement has last been assessed and revised on 11 December 2024, and the Insula County Hospital will continue to revise this Statement on a regular basis after addressing the causes behind the inaccessibility of some of the content.
