Treatment methods include the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of acute mental disorders and crisis conditions. After stabilization of the patient's condition, further evaluation and long-term treatment may be required, which is often recommended to prevent future crisis situations.
- Chronic psychiatric treatment - includes long-term psychiatric care with pharmacotherapeutic, sociotherapeutic and psychotherapeutic services that include a whole team of experts (psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, social pedagogue, occupational therapist, nurses and technicians of the SVE, BA and MA course) as well as other medical staff as indicated. Refers to permanent or recurrent disorders that require continuous care and support.
- Palliative care - the goal of palliative care is to improve the quality of life of patients who cannot be cured, placing emphasis on symptom control, pain and discomfort reduction, and providing emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial support.
