Diagnostics, outpatient treatment and rehabilitation

Most of the services in Insula Polyclinic are available with the appropriate referral of your general practitioner. All services are also available without a referral, by paying. Whether you were referred by your doctor or if you are coming independently, you have to make an appointment for all checkups, examinations and therapies via: spec.prijem@sb-insula.hr or +385 (0)51/750658.

Insula County Hospital offers a range of diagnostic and specialist services and rehabilitation on a polyclinic level. Biochemical laboratory tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, ECG, ergometry, polysomnography, electroencephalogram, evoked potential and specialist services from psychiatrists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, physiatrists, internists, neurologists, speech therapists, clinical psychologists, and nutritionists, physical therapy, and other services are available to residents of the island, the wider region, but also to foreign guests.

The facility uses various modern and innovative treatment methods like biofeedback, neurofeedback, animal-assisted therapy, and a sensory cabinet among others, in order to preserve high standards and maintain an individualized and holistic approach.

Physical therapy at the Insula Polyclinic, whether you were referred by your doctor or if you are coming independently, is only possible with a specialist physician’s report from our Hospital. In other words, before making a physical therapy appointment, you have to make an appointment for a specialist physician’s examination at the Insula Polyclinic.

Internal diagnostics: Ergometry, ECG Holter, Pressure Holter, Ultrasound examinations

An outpatient clinic for child and adolescent psychology ward and outpatient clinic for clinical psychology, logopedics, nutritional counseling, biofeedback, physical therapy and a sensory cabinet which offers services to children and adolescents all work within the Insula Polyclinic. Specialist internist and neurological services are unfortunately not available to minors at this time.

It is possible to arrange accommodation at Insula Polyclinic according to the accommodation price during physical therapy or any other examination and lab test (supra-standard).
